Aloha, Ukulele!@Community_2026 Fall(8-week)
Hello Community School Families,
New Bach Music School, a premier provider of classical music education, is excited to offer a Ukulele Class designed specifically for K-5th graders. Our school partners with local schools to deliver high-quality enrichment programs, led by extraordinary musicians and experienced educators who hold advanced degrees and Ph.D.s.
Our Aloha, Ukulele! class invites K–5 students into a joyful musical journey rooted in the spirit of aloha. It provides a fun and engaging introduction to this beloved instrument, offering an inviting starting point for young learners to discover the string family and the foundations of musical performance. Students explore a variety of chords, strumming and fingerpicking styles, rhythm, and singing while playing familiar and engaging songs. Along the way, they develop creativity and confidence while building a lifelong appreciation for music.
Each student will be provided with a ukulele for the entire duration of the session, creating a hands-on and supportive learning experience. Additionally, participants will receive a comprehensive lesson book. Upon completing the class, students will be awarded a New Bach Music School Certificate to celebrate their musical achievements.
For New Students
• The class serves as an introduction to string instruments. Many families choose it as a starting point before pursuing private lessons for long-term study.
• Builds a strong musical foundation before students move into band, orchestra, or choir in upper elementary or middle school.
For Returning Students
• Students are encouraged to take multiple sessions. New material is introduced each term, and students progress to more advanced levels over time.
What Do You Need?
• No equipment is required to register — all materials and ukuleles are provided during class.
• Each student will receive one complimentary lesson book.
